The Centre is looking for a Research Assistant for the following job scope:
The project objective is to integrate relevant ion trap based quantum devices to study synchronization at a quantum level. The ion traps are micro-fabricated and integrated into a cryogenic system for its operation with high degree of control. The group has established experiments in similar devices which they intend to expand in different application strands. The required knowledge base for the whole experiment involves optics, electronics, cryogenics and vacuum.
Description: The person will be involved in testing and experimenting with newly fabricated ion traps in a cryogenic setup. He//she will be developing RF electronics for cryogenic operation as required for the experiment.
