Senior Manager / Manager (Finance)
Job Purpose:
To manage the finances of the Centre and liaise with NUS Finance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To manage the Centre’s budget and expenditure
- To ensure finance policies and procedures and grantor’s funding guidelines are complied
- To implement and enforce internal controls
- To ensure efficient and prompt billing and payment of invoices
- To ensure proper and timely capitalisation of fixed assets and put in measures to minimise theft and loss
- To take charge of financial reporting at financial year end
- To liaise with internal and external auditors on audit matters
- To be the secretariat for audit committee meetings
- To generate monthly management reports for Director and Principal Investigators
- To work with funding agencies on grant matters
- Any other duties assigned by Director and Administrative Director
- To assist in event management
Requirements:
- A Bachelor in Accounting
- Preferably a CPA
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably in Grant Accounting, GeBiz and / or Public Sector
- Good analytical, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with drive and strong sense of responsibility
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel
- Knowledge of SAP financial application will be an advantage

IT Analyst / Associate Engineer (IT Services)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To provide technical support to all IT hardware & software service requests, Email, Network systems/devices, Software/Applications and AV system.
- To provide support to all IT operations and functions, such as documentation, IT inventories audit, Software licensing, and IT-related administration.
- To assist in monitoring and administering centre’s servers and network infrastructure.
- To provide training and standards user guide to staff and students at the Centre.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Technical certifications (MCSA, CCNA, RHCE, etc) will be advantageous.
- At least 1 year of Linux and/or Mac desktop support experience preferred.
- Good troubleshooting skills in PCs and networked systems.
- Familiar in deploying and supporting desktops/laptops and wireless devices.
- Experience with applications in a Linux and Microsoft networked environment.
- Strong understanding of LAN/Wireless and mobile computing environments.
- Basic skills in programming (i.e. Java, C), scripting (i.e. php, bash) and web (i.e. html, css).
- Good team player with ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Executive/ Senior Executive
We ha ve an opening for an Executive/Senior Executive to provide administrative support to the Graduate Programme at the Centre.
Job Purpose:
To handle the CQT PhD programme and its related administrative and logistical matters.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the CQT PhD Academic Committee application process
- Secretarial support to the CQT PhD Academic Committee
- Admission of CQT PhD students
- Administrate CQT PhD students candidature milestones
- Administrate the CQT Modules & exam matters
- Organise students related events/workshops/activities
- Student Travel and reimbursement
- Welfare of students
- Set up and manage CQT alumni network
- Improve welfare programmes and activities for PhD students
- Provide support for new programmes for students
- Administer Internship programme
- Any ad hoc matters as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Polytechnic Diploma
- At least 2 years' working experience in handling student programmes
- Meticulous, resourceful and proactive
- Excellent interpersonal skills with drive and independance
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office
