Talk on: Observability of arrival time distribution and empirical testability of the Bohmian Model

Abstract: After a brief discussion of the nonuniqueness inherent in the standard quantum mechanical calculation of arrival time distribution (ATD), I shall formulate an experimentally realizable scheme that can test any postulated approach for calculating the ATD.

Using such a scheme, I shall then compare the observable predictions obtained from one of the standard quantum mechanical approaches with the results predicted from the Bohmian model. The latter seems to provide an unique procedure for calculating the ATD.
