Description Quantum cryptography is the most mature of the technologies that constitute the field of quantum information. The quantum optics group has in the last few years developed a complete working QKD system, based on polarization measurements on entangled photon pairs, observed with discrete photoncounting detectors. This system is robust and compact, and represents probably the most applied outcome quantum information in general and the local effort.
- We implement not only a BB84 protocol, but also the Ekert-91 protocol, where we determine the possible knowledge of an eavesdropper by the degree of violation of a Bell inequality. More...
